S/4 HANA Enterprise Management Supplier Classification and Segmentation

We're approaching the SAP S4HANA 1610 Feature Scope Description document; we found under SAP S/4 HANA Enterprise Management the description of this feature: Supplier and Category Management - Classification and Segmentation.

Compared to the past ECC release, is this a new feature, or is it an integration from some other solution, and where can we find functional documentation about it?
