How to change SQL user SA to different admin user (SAP B1 9.2)

Hello Expert,

We had installed SAP B1 9.2 PL 04 at one of our client. During the installation we had use SQL "SA" account.

Now due to clients internal security policy this account cannot be used and they are planning to issue new SQL user account with same credential.

So is it possible to change the SQL user after SAP B1 installation ? and is there any document or note reference or steps to change.

Please let me know.

Hi,

I don't think possible to change "sa" after installation. You can create new user ID and password for SQL server with additional security policy.
