Hello,
i have reimported bapi from SAP R/3 system to XI to map two new fields which i have added in BAPI, i could able to see both the fields under imported objects<RFC's but not under Interface Mapping where i mapped BAPI. Any ideas?
regards,
Gayatri.

thank you very much for answering the question, but i don't see any import option in Message mapping or Interface mapping. sorry for primitive questions, I' am not an XI-Developer, I'm working in ABAP.

HI,
Go to Message Mapping and refresh it and save & activate it by just doing dummy changes.
Then go to Interface Mapping and refresh it also populate the message mapping again from the drop down box.
During runtime if it is not reflected, then do the CPACache refresh. Or change the RFC adapter/Agreements (dummy changes) and activate it,. Still problem , restart the RFC adapter engine from the J2EE engine.

Hi Gayatri,
Make sure you clear the clear the RFC adapter cache . Also reactivate the RFC adapter. You can do this by making some small change in the 'description' field in the adapter comm. channel, and save and activate it.
Should work fine

Hi,
Did you try to add the Message types again to the Message mapping.
Sounds like a cache problem.
Or Copy the Message Mapping.

Robin
