Problem creating Product Hierarchy

Dear Gurus,

My clients requirement is to create a new material group AAAAAA and a product hierarchy AAAAAA001

I have created a Material Group thru Logistic General – Material Master – Settings for Key Fields – Define MAterial Group.

Then i tried to maintaing the Prod. Hierarchy, Logistic General – Material Master – Settings for Key Fields – Data relevant for Sales & Distribution - Define Product Hierarches - Maintain Product Hierarchy.

but the system is giving an error " Please create Preceding node first".

Kindly advice me where to create the preceding node for this product hierarchy.

which level you are trying to create?

In V/76 transaction code

First enter the level 1 value .

Press SAVE button .

Enter level 2 value .

Press SAVE button .

Enter level 3 value .

Press SAVE button .
