Hello,

In lower part of TxnCode DB12. it does not show the status of archieve direcotry,

Usual it should show the remaining size of the archieve directory, But In my case it shows unknown.

Can anybody tell me how system can show me the remaining space.

Cross check the archive directory permissions at OS level.

Due to Insufficient permissions SAP is unable to retrive the archive status.

Hi Neehir

Delete the SAPOSCOL destination, copy the name which you have found in Transaction OS07, and call Transaction AL15.Enter the name here, and press 'Delete'.As at this point the F4 help does not work in some releases, this must be done manually. If the problem can still not be solved, refer to Note 84729 with regard to upper and lower case writing. If the database is on a separate server, refer to Note 20624.

Do the above step only if your SAPOSCOL destination is incorrect,

You can check this as follows:

Call Transaction OS07:

Now a list of the available SAPOSCOl destinations is displayed. This includes on the one hand the application servers in the system infrastructure and on the other hand the destinations starting in the format 'SAPOSCOL_<hostname>'.If destinations of the second type exist although the database is on an application server, these were generated by mistake and should be deleted.

Hi Neehir,

Just in DB12 transaction click on refresh button in the application tool bar and go for Archive directory status

Reward me if it works

[1] SAPOSCOL is working fine at OS level.

[2] The status of Archive Diresctory is remain unchanged after refreshing the DB12.

Sir,

Have you any other idea, about it?
