Exception while ceating a portal theme.

hi,

i am working on EP 7 sp 6.

i want to create a new theme for the customer.

to create the custom theme,

1. i have opened a standerd theme.

2. i have selected "save as"

3. i have given a new name and id for the theme

but i am getting a popup saying

"Exception caught while despatching request :null"

can you help me out ??

hi pooja,

i guess cleaning cookies and the temp files ensures that the poeral will load the new, latest data from the server, so that you can see the changes take place.and it has nothing to do with saving the theme.

anyways, i had tried that too !

also i have ensured that only one session is open at a time. but its of no use .

Try this out and see:

After making changes and before saving, clear the cookies and temp files and then try saving. Also make sure the same user id has not opened another session in some other system.

anyways,

i got the solution.

it was some setting problem with the J2EE engine.
