hi all,

how can i create a new layout apart from the standard for VF04 ( maintain billing due list ) , reason being the user does not require all the fields which are on display in the std one.

Hence forth i want to create a new user specific layout.

Once you made changes in the layout. Click on the tick mark the pop-up window will go. Then click on the save icon next to "Transaction window". You will reach at screen where SAVE (Save as layout) icon will apear. Here you can use Ctrl + F12 also.

Thanks

Hi Sudarshan,

Please maintain Parameter ID 'SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN' with Parameter value 'A'.

in 'Parameters' tab in your profile accessed by menu System->User profile->Own data. After that, you can use save layout function in VF04.

Please reward points if helpful.

After save the profile, remember to create a new session( /OVF04 or /NVF04 )

If you have created it for specific user other then you, perhaps you can not see them. Is it the case ?

Try create them for "global" user initially, then make them user specific.

After executing VF04 create new layout, (settings -> Layout). Hide the columns you do not want to be displayed. If you want to change in the options available in the selection screen to the user then Goto -> Variants -> Save as variant.

After that you create Z-transactions using SE93 and assign these Variant and Layout. Then assign Z-transaction to the users.

Cheers.

hi ashish,

thanks for the response , but when we are trying to save the layout , the save button is disabled.

from the menu bar, settings---> layout -

> save ( this is disable).

what should we do to enable this.

sudarshan.

From the menu bar go to settings---> layout -

> Current. A new screen will pop-up. In that select the columns that you want to hide and hide them.

Then use the save icon to save the layout.

> layout -
