What could impact 1st package arrived under Request Analysis(InfoPackage)?

Dear experts,

Wir experience performance issues with several InfoPackages. For example, it can take 60 min overall, but 58 min on "1st package arrived [HH:MM:SS]" while normally it takes 5 to 15 min overall. I wonder what happens during "1st package arrived [HH:MM:SS]". What should be checked to acquire further details on this?

Hi Ren,

The more details you can provide, the easier it is to help. Which DataSources are you using? Which version of BW and Service Pack? What database and version?

Some BI content DataSource require the generation of a staging table and code at run time. Once the table and code is generated, follow on data moves much more quickly.

Consider reducing your infoPackage size. You may be facing an NxN issue.
