Hi,
Alerts from Alert Inbox can be automatically forwarded to an Email Id.
Prerequisite : SAPConnect (SCOT) configuration to send mails should already be in place.
1.Assign the Email Id to the recipient of the Alert in SU01.
2.Go the Alert Inbox of the recipient in RWB , Personalization > Time Independent Delivery> Email.
3.If SCOT has been configured, for every Alert sent to the Alert Inbox of the user, the Alert Email will now be triggered.
4 Text of the mail will be the Long Text defined in ALRTCATDEF

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is what you want but if you use a BPM have a look how you can configure alerts:
/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/13/alerts-with-variables-from-the-messages-payload-xi--updated
you can also invoke alerts in the mapping (but in your case you'd need a sync scenario to do that)
