Question on SLD

Hi there,

What is best approach for the System Landscape directory. Is it mandatory that we have one SLD for XI meaning that DEV XI, QA XI and PRD XI should all be on single SLD.

Is it better to have DEV-QA SLD's seperated from PRD.

Do we need to have SLD installed on a seperate system or is it better with another application.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Just to add on with other answers

SLD recommends only One SLD for dev,qa, Prd. but it in generally many implementation has 2 SLDs. one is for Dev and QA + one separate SLD for Prod.

Really the asnwer is it depends on the requirement/cost/maintenance etc.

This doc may help u-
