Hi.
I want to ask regarding blank space issue. the blank space keep appearing between last record in the details and report footer. let say i have 12 records in the details. the first 10 details appeared nicely on the first page, and the other 2 appear on the second page. since the second page only has 2 records, so, and the third page will have a quite big space between the details and the footer.
here i attach the image of the problem.
this picture show the last 2 records
and this one the last page that contains the blank space.
My question is,
1) can I remove the blank space and how to do it, since i already try to solve this issue. I tried to edit the margin or the size of each section, but once the number of records is changing, it will appear again based on how many record inside the details. I also tried to supress the details and create some formula, but it will only supress area that has details only, and does not supress the blank space.
OR
2)If i cannot remove the blank space, can i write some "notes" inside the blank space just like shown in the picture below?
I really appreciate if somebody can help me regarding to this issue.
thank you,
and have a nice day. 😉
Have you tried with "Clamp Page Footer" check box in Section Expert > Page Footer ?

Hi Ian.
Thank you for reply.
Actually I already done to uncheck the keep together option but it does not affect the blank space, it only affect the details section with record,
you mean, I need to upload the .rpt file here?
Thank you again Ian

Lots of causes so difficult to help
Check all groups - Go to change groups- Options
Are any set to keep together? Try turning off
In Section experts check all sections and turn off any which are checked as Keep together, New page before, or Print at bottom of page
Do this in a controlled manner so you can see which if any have an impact.
Failing that post a copy of your report with saved data causing issue and someone might be able to spot something.
