Webi report failing with error "The action cannot be performed"

Hi Experts,

One of our webi report is pulling data correctlyif we refresh the report,but when i try to schedule or run now the report is failing with error "The action cannot be performed"

We tried restarting all servers but no luck.

Please help me with your suggestions.

it means that report got corrupted.. restore from your backup copy or rebuild the report

We are in BI 4.1 SP4,what i am trying to understand is if the report is corrupted how come it is pulling the data correctly up to the date.

I purged all data saved in the report and tried refreshing,still it is showing the correct data.

In report we have used If function to calculate the percentage,will this cause any issue.

1. your report works when webi processing server is used - refresh workflow.
2. your report fails to run when you select "run now" or schedule it - that's shedule workflow.

The difference between 1 and 2 :
1 uses WIPS 2 uses AJS and WIPS.
So the problem is with your AJS (adopting job server) or your rights to scheduling.

I am using administrator login with Full control (Inherited) rights.I have few other scheduled reports in webi which are running fine using AJS.

then that means it is an issue specific to this report, you need to enable tracing (best use e2e trace KBA 1861180) and see what the logs say.
