DATASOURCE 0FI_GL_6, i am GETTING '0'RECORDS IN RSA3.

We are trying to extract GL DATA.

I AM USING THE DATASOURCE 0FI_GL_6.WE R GETTING '0'RECORDS IN RSA3.IS THERE ANY SETTING REQUIRED TO GET THE DATA?

we r using R/3 (ECC5 ) AND BW 3.5 ( We are on 2004s )

We decided to go ahead with 0FIGL_C01 cube. , and I believe, the old datasource 0FI_GL_1 is replaced by 0FI_GL_6 with delta capability. And even I see there is new Datastore object 0FIGL_O06.

In my Production System, I check the Table - GLT0.

it is showing NO Table Entries Found.

How come It's ? This is Production System.

am i checking Right Table ( GLT0 )

is there any other settings i have to do, to get the data in GLT0 table

PLZ HELP US THE IN SOLVING THE PROBLEM.

Hi SJA,

0FI_GL_6 datasource is based on the GLTO (totals table) in R/3. You are right.

I believe, the GLTO table gets populated from the basic entries done in the BSEG and BKPF tables for GL line items.

Check with the FI/CO consultant in the team and see if the config is done on their side to maintain data in GLTO table. If this is not done, then I dont think you can use this datasource. Check with the R/3 folks, if GLTO would be populated in the near future. If not, then you might have to work with 0FI_GL_4 datasource (which brings line item records and only after images, so make sure to use an ODS) and then aggregate the records in the cube as per specific user requirements,

I told my FICO consultant, they are unable to find the settings to populate data from tables BSEG and BKPF to GLT0.

Hi SJA

Please check with your R/3 FICO consultant if consolidation piece is active in yoru client scenario. I think if that is active, the GLTO table is populated. If not, then you will have to pull data from 0FI_GL_4 and then as mentioned before, massage the data in BW to adhere to reporting requirements.

!!!!!!!

May I suggest they check the switch new general ledger setting on inthe IMG (if it's on - they are not usign the old classic ledger - ie get your data from GL10)

Thank u Responce, u r Right There is a setting in R/3 .

we solved that problem,

go to ---SPRO

Financial Accounting (New) --\ Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) --\ Tools --\ Deactivate Update of Classic General Ledger (GLT0)

Here U will get Two check Boxes -- just chick it.
