How to access pricing condition record table A950

Hi Experts,

While creating order we want to populate purchase order number so that pricing conditions gets populated automatically based on access sequence. We are using exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBKD for this purpose.

We are retrieving purchase order from pricing condition record table A950(using select query) based on material and customer. We are worried about performance while reading data from table A950. Can someone let us know whether there is any other way to achieve this.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Alfred D'britto

What "this" are you trying to achieve exactly? IMHO storing specific PO number in a condition table is already rather silly solution and, of course, it only gets worse from there. So you might want to reevaluate that design choice.

Sorry but it's not possible to say anything more with such limited information provided.

P.S. Title doesn't seem to match the question. It says "how to access" but then you're saying performance is actually the concern. You might want to be more specific and accurate, going forward. Also FYI - others are not notified when you post another answer. Use comments to the answer instead (see this blog).

Try to set break-point at the user exit : USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBKD and find variable/table/internal table in global tab in Debug mode.

If not exist PO number then you have to query from table.

    Hi John,

Thanks for reply. We had put breakpoint inside exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBKD and checked in global tab but couldn't find any variable/table/internal table having pricing record data.

Out requirement is to automatically populate PO number by fetching from A950 table. Is there are FM available for reading A950 table?

    Regards,

    Alfred
