friends,
good..what is the procedure to send an intimation letter, be it, an e-mail or anything else to a supplier after a particular event gets triggered from SAP? is there any customization setting that we have to do or should we write any program? if so, then should we write it in an exit? am not quite exposed to this area..could u please let me know what are the possible options that would fulfill this requirement...thanks all

Hi!
If your event is something like a creation of a document (purchase order), then you can use output messages, which might be printed, but also send by e-mail.
If you have a more general event, then you can link a workflow, which can contain an item 'sent e-mail'.

you can use the tcode ME21N but it differs as per your requirement and sometime you have to do the changes in the customization also.
