CO-PA Assessments by the original sender cost elements

Hi,

When i do COPA assessments i do not want to use a single assessment cost element as the receiver. Instead of that i want to retain the original cost element as it is in the receiver COPA PSG. Therefore i tried to use an allocation structure where i set settlement cost element "By cost element" and the receiver object as PSG. I did not set anything for the assessment cost element.

However, when i run the COPA assessment, the system throws this message

"No assignment of an assessment cost element to cost element Message no. GA834"

Does this mean that i still have to use an assessment cost element? In that case how can we ensure the original cost element is retained in the receiver object?
