every line item is controlled by its schedule line and every schedule line will have its own route as per the ship to party's address.Route determination for any line item is done by using condition technique concept.Every route consist of numer of stages and each stage could be considered as one leg.
in SAP there are three types legs defined which are priliminary leg,main leg and subsequent leg and direct leg.
if there is one departure and single destination point then we can define direct leg othervise we have to define the rest three legs which are to be assigned to sigle reg.for any leg the shipping point is mandatory.
