Bespoke Data in Equipment Download from R/3 to CRM

I need to replicate bespoke fields on the equipment record from R3 to CRM.

I have been told to use FM MAP2E_EQUI_TO_BAPI_EQUI1 on R3. How to I add the extra fields to the structure with a repair?
