Modification in IR

Hi all,

I have developed a SOAP-RFC scenario. I have generated WSDL file successfully. Using xml spy I have tested scenario and it is working fine. (This is TEST1, WSDL file is FILE1)

Now I have done some modification in IR (removed one filed in target structure, changed the mappings) and activated the objects. Now I have sent the same request to server using FILE1. It is giving test1 results only.

I generated WSDL file gain (FILE2). And send again the request. It is giving error

com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleException: either no channelID specified or no channel found

for the specified party, service, and channel name, MessageServlet.

Can any body solve this problem please? If we want to do any modification in Datatypes, mapping (IR) after successfully completion of scenario. Then Is our newly updated scenario working fine or not? Most of time I am going to change source and target fields. Will effect on webservices. If not what I need to do?

hi,

if oyu only changed the data type

and refreshed all objects

then it should work (after you generate the WSLD once more)

can you try refreshing the caches ?

if you change the structure then it will

if only mapping then no need to regenerate the WSLD

Hi Guru,

Thanks for immediate response; I have tried once by refreshing the caches at

http://server:port/rep/support/admin/index.html till I am facing same problem.

Can you briefly tell me how to refresh the caches in IR. Most of time I am getting reliable answer from you. Thanks a lot.

Hi all,

Can any body briefly tell how to refreshing the caches in IR. (Generally I do modifications (change the structure) at IR.

And also tell me how to check the cache whether it is refreshed or not.
