scanning problem

hi all,

There is a discrepancy observed with all the barcode read outs on the VIN Tag. There is an additional character appended at the end of every line that was scanned, each barcode had a different additional character at the end of barcode output when scanned.

actually printing is through a smartform and there is a print prrogram that is giving values to smartform....

can somebody tell me possible reason for that??where the problem actually is??

Hi All,

I am also facing the same problem.

I tried to condense the string before printing it in barcode.

But still I am facing the problem.

Please suggest something.

The barcode scanner may be programmed to add a postable character to the scanned barcode or it's displaying the checksum digit.

Check scanner settings.

Hi,

How do you print the barcode do you have BARDIMM in your printer or are you using Barcode.DLL. If you are using demo version of DLL, you may face this problem.
