In my runtime workbench my adapter engine is running green as a subobject under Non-Central Adapter Engines. Shouldn't it be under the Integration Server for me to be able to see it in the Integration Directory?
Please advise -

Let me rephrase the question.
True or False:
In the component monitor, my XI adapter engine should be listed as a subobject of the "Integration Server" for me to be able to see it in the adapter engines dropdown when creating a file communication channel in the ID?
Currently it's listed under "Non-Central Adapter Engines" in the component monitor... and I think that is why I can't see it in the ID.
Please advise...

Hi,
Excellently you have Rephrased the Question, I think it might be the reason as you have mentioned. Mean time try out SLD cache and check it whether it is Availabale.
SLD Cache :
To clear the SLD cache, from the Integration Builder main menu, choose Environment -- Delete Cache for SLD Data.

Krishna, I've done that 3 times.
I am pretty well convinced that this issue is caused by the fact that in the component monitor, the adapter engine is installed under Non-Central Adapter Engines and not under the Integration Server.
I have no adapter engine under the Integration server.
I was under the impression that the Non-Central Adapter Engine is for when you connect a remote XI system.

Yes... I had previously imported the BASIS 6.40 SC into the IR... but I do not see the adapter engine when creating a communication channel.

Hi,
Do you mean, you are not able to see Adapters in the RWB->Component Monitoring->Adapter Engine-
Also do the CPACache Refresh..
Hope you have imported SAP BASIS SWC into integration repository
