Which user exit can be used to make following field VTTK_ADD01 .

I would like to make the following field required during VT01N and VT02N.

VTTK_ADD01

Then in addition to this if VTTK_ADD01 = AIR EXP (Air Expedite) or GRD EXP (Groud Expedite) then fields VTTK_ADD02 and VTTK_ADD03 must be required. Is this possible though a user exit? How do you suggest we handle this requirement?

Find out which exit to use and provide it and the desired logic to your ABAPer.

Looking at the complexity of the requested logic- even a junior programmer should be able to handle the ticket without hard-coding.

If I were the functional consultant, responsible for the change request, before speaking with the developer, I would discuss with the business whether there are additional criteria, where the logic has to apply - e.g. shipment type, TPP, special processing indicator, from which stage the rule has to be applied etc.
