Success factors payroll possibility

Dear sirs,

Our client would like to move to SF functionality overall (Pa,OM, Payroll, Travel management) + advanced HCM (Learning solution, Talent management, Performance).

However we already have running on-premise SAP for these functionalities.

I have several questions on this:

1. How configurations are done in Employee Central payroll? The same spro of on premise or something else? Or Employee Central just starts payroll which is run on on-premise server?

2. Example of companies that moved their on-premise solutions to the cloud?

3. Is on-premise solution still necessary for the integration with Success Factors?

Thanks and regards,

Nazym Orazgaliyeva

1. How configurations are done in Employee Central payroll? The same spro of on premise or something else? Or Employee Central just starts payroll which is run on on-premise server?

Yes Configuration are done in ECP, You can run Payroll in ECP or via EC using Payroll Control Center ie new fiori UI

Payroll is same old SAP PY but integrated with EC

2. Example of companies that moved their on-premise solutions to the cloud? There are many companies which have moved, and many already are reference, we have companies more than 1 million users etc did that, Our Sales team can share the reference, if you need further let me know

PepsiCo, Woolworths, Timken etc and many others

3. Is on-premise solution still necessary for the integration with Success Factors?

it depends if customer are heavy of Time evaluation and custom functionality and cant port it to EC, they keep their On premise solution

my blog explains it
