Reorder Point MRP with external req - V1

Hello ,

Has anybody used MRP type V1 . I have been trying to figure out what system does when using MRP type V1 and have not been able to figure out .

Hi ,

Usually we maintain replinishment Qty with MRP type . If stock falls below the safety stock , system will replinish with required QTY .

How system arrived at the required qty is important . If you Use PD , system will consider only Unrestricted stock and on going consumption. If stock goes below then it will replinish with Replinishment Qty.

If you set to V1 , then system will check the current stock , but replinishment Qty is arrrived from not only consumend but alos it considers Open sales order , Open reservations done in system .
