How to install/configure new Adapters ?

Former Member

Bonjour a tous et a toutes,

We are running SAP XI 3.0 / NW2004s with SP9.

We had a couple problems getting the adapters shown. The only one that displayed (but in error), was the JPR (JAVA Proxy). We have apply the OSS note #764176 + others post installations steps (ex.: importing SAP Basis 7.0 content) and then bingo, all adaptors are not presents.

Now, a silly question, where do we go to add new adaptors?

Thank Michel R. Osborne

Hi,

hope you have gone thru all post installation steps ?

Also did you check XI readiness check-817920

This guide may help u-

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/08438c77-0501-0010-50a0-e39...

btw for the standard adapters, it not required to install any special. just you need to import the adapter metadata thru SAP BASIS SWCV.

Now, a silly question, where do we go to add new adaptors?

>>Do you mean third-prty industry standard adapters ? If so you need to get those business package from SAP service market place and you need to import that,.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Moorthy

Salut Michel,

Adapters should be visible in rwb->component monitoring->adapter engine.

To see your new created communicational channels there, you just need to create a new communicational channel on ID and activate it.

So if you do not see them probably some post installation activities where not done.

In case everything was done there, try to restart CPA cache from visual administrator.

Also have a look at this thread:

Hope it helps

Kind Regards,
