Error in installing MySap 2004s SR1 with DB2 and IBM AIX.

Hello Gurus,

I am installing MySap 2004s SR1 with DB2 and IBM AIX.

I am facing the following error :

MDB-01101 Installed Software Level '08.02.0002' is insufficient for this installation ...</i></b>

<b><i>ERROR 2006-11-08 18:33:01

MUT-03025 Caught ESAPinstException in Modulecall: ESAPinstException: error text undefined.

FCO-00011 The step DB6CheckSoftwareLevel with step key |NW_Onehost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|NW_GetSidNoProfiles|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|NW_getDBInfo|ind|ind|ind|ind|2|0|NW_DB6_Initialize_Db_Software_Info|ind|ind|ind|ind|3|0|DB6CheckSoftwareLevel was executed with status ERROR .</i></b>

As this occered in the phase "Install JCE Policy".

I have even tried to get the latest version But I am not succesfull.

Please help.

Hi

please update your V8 Database Software to an supported Level .

You are at Fixpack 9 (08.02.0002) and the minimum required level for this installation is Fixpack 10 (08.02.0003) .

The current Fixpack for DB2 UDB Version 8 is Fixpack 13

and SAP recommends to stay on current maintenance .

See SAP Note 101809 "DB6: Supported Fix Packs for DB2 UDB

for UNIX and Windows"

Thanks once again I have installed FP12 and the error is gone.

But here I have one more error triggered, Here I am pasting the log.

Please help me.

Dear Dirk,

Thankyou very much.

One more thing is I also have the DVD of FP12,can you please tell me whether I can go head and upgarde DB2 to FP12 with the help of that DVD if so how much time it will take or else should I need to uninstall the DB2 first and reinstall with FP12.
