Why in SAP ByD is it not possible to adapt the home page in order to maintain a company wide Home Page ?

Are you looking for customizing the Home page?
Meaning background image, company specific images etc? If yes, you can refer to the below link.

Or if you want to go to Adaptation mode in Home work center, you can go to Settings on top right & select Start Adaptation Mode.
Below that, you will find Company settings as well.
