Launch Word documents in portal content

I would like to view my Word documents launching Word application inside content area. Is it possible?

Hey,

Could you write a script that calls the Word .exe from an end users desktop?

You could then write a html page to contain this script. Upload this into the portal and create a url iView to this page. When the page is called, Word will open.

Thanks for your help, but I need to launch any Word document inside content area when I open it, not only one.

Need a simple application that access to the specific folder and create a list of link for all DOCs you wish.

With JSP or WebDynpro java.

Hi Unai,

Create a page - one column - with one com.sap.km.cm.docs iView pointing to some MS Word document. The question whether Word opens now inside this iFrame or opens outside the browser is client dependent.
