BPC authorisation trace

Dear SAP BPC experts,

I am facing the following issue: when I am logging into the system the new report icon is inactive sometimes. Please be noted that the new report icon is active 90 % with the same authorisation access. My questions are the followings:

1.Is there a way that we can trace the BPC authorisation?

2.Is it a common error that the new report icon become inactive for the user with the same access rights? The majority of the time is active but becomes inactive as you are logging into the system for an empty EXCEL template with the same access rights?

The problem is solved whether you choose the EXCEL template or the EPM template in the EPM-add-in. If you choose the Excel template in this case the new report button will be inactive, but of you choose the EPM template as default template in the case the new report button will be active.

You are talking about Sheet Options: Worksheet Type?

Then for sure, if you select Excel Worksheet - EPM buttons will be disabled for this particular sheet. It's by design.
