How to connect database using SAP HCI-PI

I have doubt,is it possible to connect database through SAP HCI-PI if yes what are the standard adapters are available,if not there how to connect to database.

Hello Sandeep,

Currently from SAP HCI-PI perspective standard adapters are not available to connect to Database [ JDBC ].

But its possible using SAP HCI-DS [ Data Services ].

SAP HCI-DS is ETL tool. What if PI is the only options, especially to communicate with external REST API? Are the any other options available in PI to persist data to a HANA cloud DB?
