Can any one let me know how DTP works with infosources

Hi,

I couldnt find the infosource option in DTP in the source of DTP area. How can I create Data Transfer Process to load the data from Infosource.Help will be appreiciated.

select datasource on the transformation and create DTP.

if you want to create DTP for transfer from DSO or cube select the appropraite in transformation and create DTP.

HI:

First you need to create a transformation thay utilizes the InfoSource as a "source" for the transformation. Once the transformation is in place, you can create the DTP.

By the way I have created the transformation from Info source to Data Target .

You just have to create DTP for source for the same source for which you created Infosource.

You just have to create Tranformation on ur data target by giving source option as Infosource, and after that just create DTP, and use it. It will take data from Infosource.
