Hi experts.
Let me present the following question.
At the client there are a group of documents that arrive in paper format which must be afterwards scanned into to the legacy application.
It is intended to replace the legacy application with SAP DMS.
I haven't found any relevant documentation detailing how can a document be digitalized and sent into DMS or SAP CRM (preferibly DMS), if it is even possible at all.
Does anyone knows of a solution for this?
And how to initiate a workflow upon digitalization?

There is definitely software out there (third-party). I think Basware and Streamserve sell such solutions. Just google for it!

Are you talking about EP-KM or about mySAP PLM DMS?
In the latter case (DMS) you should post in "ABAP development" as you will probably need to use a user exit to your scanning and/or OCR application.
