Does BSI Tax Locator extends to Employee Central Portlet for Employees?

Hello SAP Successfactors Expert,

I understand that when BSI TaxLocatorâ„¢ SaaS is active in the system, it uses the employee and company's addresses to suggest the most appropriated tax areas to be maintained for a given employee.

This is applicable for payroll users.

But what if the employee themselves, log into the Employee Central via the Portlet and maintains a tax area. Will they receive a recommended local tax area from BSI Tax Locator while logged into Employee Central Portlet only?

    HR/Payroll Administrators maintain Resident Tax Area (Infotype 207) and Work Tax Area (infotype 208), not individual employees. That said, for Employee Central Payroll users, we have enabled TaxLocator usage on these infotypes - it was included with HRSP #34 note

    "2374394 - BSI: Enhancement to enable BSI TaxLocator SaaS". Furthermore, Employee Central Payroll customers use BSI eFormsFactory to allow employees and admins on behalf of employees to maintain payroll withholding certificates (commonly known as W-4s). Tax Area and address info is passed to eFormsFactory so that it can propose the list of authorities for which a W-4 is required.
