STANDARD HIERARCHY

ERROR Message KS055

Please explain why standard hierarchy is required to create cost center.

And how to create STANDARD HIERARCHY for controlling area as company code.

As I am getting error while creating cost center “STANDARD HIERARCHY is not maintained for controlling area.”

My controlling area is my company code.

Standard Heirarchy represents all cost centres belonging to a controlling area from a controlling perspective.

you need to create heirarchy and assign in Controlling area in OKKP transaction.
