DTW and Chart of Accounts

Hi,

I am trying to upload Chart of Accounts using DTW 2005. I am able to upload Title Accounts using DTW but I am unable to create Active accounts using DTW.

In the Excel file I have used "tYES" under ActiveAccount but when I mention "tYES" then DTW gives me an error "Invalid Code Application defined or object-defined erroroChatOfAccounts".

When I use "tNO" in the same excel document it uploads the account fine making it a Title account.

I can also provide the file if you need.

Thank you

According to my notes for loading Segmentation Accounts:

Make sure your title accounts are loaded. These entries should have the "Code" blank and then the full account is entered in the "Format Code" (no spaces or separators). Make sure the column is set to TEXT.

Hi guys... I finally could migrate My Chart of Account Template the way it has to be! ...the mistake was mine! ...Check all your fields... (specially the FORMAT CODE Field) ...it has to be horizontally alliegned from left to rigth and this field must to have "General" type for the Cell.

Well... i hope this could help you guys.

Another note, I am using segmented accounts , I have tried it on normal Indian COA and the Active account works but under Segmented accounts it does not creat an Active account.

What i did was upload the chart of account... all the accounts as Title and i changed to active account in the SBO. I know it's complex, but it's the only answer i found inmediatly.
