Project Systems Results Analysis Using Multipl Companies Posting to Financials

We have the following senario:

A project in PS belongs to a single company, and all it's WBS elements are assigned to that same company. Networks/activities are assigned based on where the work is to be done, so they may be assigned to another company that is not the job owner. When we run Results Analysis, it tells us the at the networks/activities assigned to the second company are not included becuase they are cross company. The results are also to be posted to Fianancials in settlement. I understand why the cross company postings can not be performed for financials. Both companys use the same controlling area.

Is it possible to set up two WBS elements ( on for each company involved ) and report the Results Ananlysis to the specific company WBS then post the value in finacials to that specific company.

Our WBS follows the BOM structure so splitting at the top, and following the WBS elements down it's own path per each company is not possible. This is why we have Networks and Activities assigned specifically to the company/plant that the work is to be done.
