Smart from Hebrew language translations issue

Hello,

I am facing issue while translating smart form through SE63.

Form created in EN language. For Israel country output should be displayed in Hebrew language.I translated EN text to Hebrew language using Tcode SE63.

When i see the print preview of output all text is showing as ########## instead of Hebrew language.

Could you please advise what more needs to be done apart from SE63 transaltions, to display the text in Hebrew language.

Thanks,

Abhis.

Ask your Basis admin. Also there are hundreds of SCN posts out there regarding all the possible issues with Smartforms showing "#", which in general means the character cannot be recognized/interpreted. Use Google -> Smartform shows hash site:sap.com (or similar).

I am confused, I don't think Hebrew language should be installed to print Hebrew on the forms. I remember one example only English installed system and we have the same form with English, Dutch, Spanish, German, etc. As far as I know your system should be Unicode and your device types should support the languages.

Though I am not sure the language should be installed languages for like Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Greek, etc.

Ask Basis to Install Hebrew language.

Hi Abhis,

I think firstly your system should be Unicode system, I assume it is! And your printer -you use for printing / preview- device type should support Hebrew language. You can check with Basis team.

One more thing, usually local LOCL printer is used for testing purpose. I recommend not to use local printer, instead use actual printer with actual device type that you intend to use in production system.
