InfoSet Table Joins and Relationships

My end goal is to create a Target Group of Customers. I would like to create an InfoSet, and use that as my Data Source. The Target Group will consist of Customers and their related Contacts. I would like to join tables in my InfoSet, but I am having trouble achieving my end result.

I have the Relationship tables that I would like to use, but to achieve a end result of Customer, Contact, Address data I believe I am missing a table. I am using the tables, BUT000, BUT051, ADRC. I am also using the SMOKNVV table to access Sales Data for the Customers.

The InfoSet I have generated is successful with joining the tables BUT000, ADRC, SMOKNVV. My Data Source can access the InfoSet, and I can also create Attribute Sets from from the Data Source. When I access this information in the Segment Builder I am able to create a Target Group, but without the relationship between the Customer and Contact.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Any help would be appreciated.

The problem was rectified by adding an alias table to the infoset. The display of the results in the Segment Builder was rectified by modifying the customizing for this and adding a customized display output.

    • Brian,

We had to do a bit of customizing to adjust the output list for the segment builder.

There were 3 new BADIs created.

      1. BADI to Select the Target Group Members from the datasource used in the segment builder (infoset)

      2. BADI to select the table where the data will be stored once it is selected. This was a new table we had to create based on the fields being outputted to the Segment Builder results list.

      3. BADI to select the attributes applied in the Segment Builder (marketing attributes, filters, etc.)

      4. Program a method to output the data into the Segment Builder.

All of the programming was done by a consultant during our Netweaver Portal implementation.

I'm sure this is quite vague for you, but I don't have a document with all of the changes.
