Expired credential file

The credential file downloaded from the 'SAP NetWeaver Trial and Preview Versions' section of SDN isn't valid anymore. Will (and when) a new credential be available? And in which way, will it be available?

No problem. I checked it yesterday before I posted, and it was one expiring in February. I'll try to get the SDN guys to put it right. I apologize for the trouble.

Stay tuned...

Cheers,

Markus

Try this <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/softwaredownload?download=/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/business_packages/a1-8-4/ads_credentials/adscredentialsfeb07.zip">link</a> for now.

Hi Markus,

I just followed your link and tried to install the files, after the old one expired last month.

Unfortunately I can't use the Adobe Document Services. He always throws me the following exception:

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Error during call to AdobeDocumentServer: Processing exception during a "UsageRights" operation.

Request start time: Fri Nov 10 12:40:24 CET 2006

com.adobe.ProcessingError: Error while retrieving a password for credential: ReaderRights:

java.lang.Exception: Could not retrieve a password for credential: ReaderRights

...

With the old expired files the ADS worked.

Do you know how to solve my problem?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards, Patrick.

Placing the credential in the correct folder is not enough. You also need to register it in the Visual Admin (see the documentation on the Download site).

Apart from the fact that your doing a workaround not really intended , i.e. just getting the new credential when the old one expires. The idea is really to get a production installation after evaluating the test version. For such a credential, see <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/736902">SAP Note 736902</a>.

Best,

Hi Markus,

I already registered the file in the Visual Admin.

A restart and a rename of the alias solved the problem.

Anyhow, thank you for your advice.

Kind regards, Patrick.

P.S.: I will have a look at your link (SAP-Note). But today, I just want to try out the sap-example-application "TravelRequest" (from the SDN).

Can anyone post the place from where we can get a working credential

file. The file 0002623-Jun07.pfx with password in 0002623-Jun07.txt does

not seem to work.

Thanks for your help,

Hello,

This one expires end of June.

Try <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/70aa75cc-6ac3-2910-c78c-ade192ec861e">the new one from SDN</a>, valid until november.

The credential file I downloaded recently has expired (Jun 07). Any chance a new one will be available soon?

Hi,

Why dont you raise an OSS Message in these regards.

Dear Raja,

I don't think OSS is for trail software users, but for registerd (and licensed) customers. Or do you see this otherwise?
