10054: WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer

Hi everyone

We are having several problems with this issue. We are implementing SAP NetWeaver, and on the test fields, on the connection to sandbox, only 3 machines are presenting this issue. We already implement the solution adding on the Registry a key on the route HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters; here,we add the DWORD key 'TcpMaxDataRetransmissions', and for the day it works, but the problem appears at next day.

Please help us to find a definitive solution on the matter.

Hello,

try to telnet the server with the port 3200

E.g.: > telnet xx.xx.xx.xx 3200 (check for the response and connection...)

Most of the time if above commands works then the problem is in netwrok only...

Creating and evaluating the network trace from the server and frontend. To test the network, you should run a fatigue test using the tool "niping":

Plz. check the following SAP Notes

Note 26086 - TCP/IP Connection to partner broken

Note 107407 - Win95: Connection Reset by Peer

Note 500235 - Network Diagnosis with NIPING

Also, Plz. check the Host file entry in that machines and entry for port 3200 and 3600.

If it helpfull then please give reward point for the same..
