Change in account postings from Receving to Supplying plant in STO

Hi All,

The issue is regarding changing of account postings in the FI document created after doing a PGI in an inter company STO process with delivery and with out billing using UB as document type.

The present account postings getting created after PGI are:

<b><b>Receiving Company code 1000.</b></b>

Debit 1000 - 140110 Inventory (receiving terminal) $200 ($150 + $20 + $25 + $5)

Credit 1000 - 211150 Accrued freight $20

Credit 1000 - 400185 Handling Expences $25

Credit 1000 - 211155 accrued handling $5

Credit 1000 - 217110 Inter Company Clearing $150

<b>Supplying Company code 2000.</b>

Credit 2000 - 140110 Inventory (shipping terminal) $150

Debit 2000 - 217110 Inter Company Clearing $150

We need to change it as when we create the STO we won’t know the cost. What we know is the average australian price (gotten from Green Markets, etc.). That is what will go into the condition type ZFCH (Handling Expenses). This is not to be considered as a margin. The margin will be calculated using the average australian price – inventory cost = extended margin. This extended margin will show correctly in the australian ledger (Comp Code 2000) if you use the example below to assign the debit and credits to the correct accounts.

<i><u><b>Example</b></u></i>

Inventory Cost of product at shipping plant $150

Product price for receiving plant (Transfer Price) $175 ($150 + $25)

Freight from Courtright to terminal $20

Handling accrual at terminal $5

<u><b>Required Account Postings</b></u>

<b>Receiving Company Code Entries</b>

Debit 1000 - 140110 Inventory (receiving terminal) $200 ($175+ $20 + $5)

Credit 1000 - 211155 accrued handling $5

Credit 1000 - 217110 Inter Company Clearing $195

<b>Supplying Company Code Entries</b>

Debit 2000 - 217110 Inter Company Clearing $195

Credit 2000 - 140110 Inventory (shipping terminal) $150

Credit 2000 - 211150 Accrued freight $20

Credit 2000 - 4xxxxxx Represents margin $25
