Create service product INVESTIGATION in master data

Hi Group,

Upon navigating to the Service Ticket in the IC WebClient, I see the message "Create service product INVESTIGATION in master data" appear. I believe all customizing steps have been performed and all necessary master data was created. Nevertheless this message appears. Should be something small, that I overlooked. Anybody who recognizes this?

Did you manage to resolve this, I'm also sitting with the same issue on the "Unit of Measure" error. I believe I've configed correctly but obviously something is missing.

Would really appreciate some guidance.

Hi,

I did have the problem, I solved it by creating the service product INVESTIGATION in the master data.

But I still have an error message "Enter the unit of measure".

Would someone know how to get rid of this message?

Which should the Base Unit of measure for INVESTIGATION product?

Hi,

we face exactly the same problem. Even though there is a unit measure maintained.

We tried several units but without success. I think it would make sense to use minutes and hours as the time for Investigation should be measured.

Would be great to get a solution.

Hi,

We have this exact same issue. The Investigation product is maintained with a unit of measure, but when creating a service ticket the unit doesn't carry over.

Has anyone been able to solve this?

Starting with my first question:

Did you implement BADI CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI with PROVIDE_SERVICE_PRODUCT method for the product assignment?

Robin,

Yes, the BADI is implemented. The line item is being properly created in the background with the appropriate Service Ticket item. When I go over to Service Order, the INVESTIGATION item is listed with a quantity of 1, but no unit of measure is populated eventhough it is maintained in the product.

So your business allows to have both service ticket and service order on the same navigation list?

No, we will be removing service order from the Nav Bar. We only have it there for now while we are still setting up the system.

Perhaps this additional information will trigger some answers. Note 870059 specifies aa solution for the case in which one would like to use the service ticket in ICWC <u>without</u> automatic creation of an item in the background.

In my case it seems like this item is not created. I do want it to be created automatically, as I don't want to enter item details myself.

Any suggestions, no matter how trivial they may seem, are welcome!
