Batch Determination in WM during TO WM/PP interface

Hi Experts,

we have assigned batch determination for WM mov type 319 ( staging for PP-WM interface).

When converting TR to TO in the background using LB13, TO creation is failed with error message 'L3714 - No batches were selected during the batch search' if batches according to search criteria are not available. Working as expected.

But if we try fore ground option then we can select the any batch from stock figure dialogue/ updated the quant manually in the TO and proceed with creating the TO.

Is there any option to prevent this?

If we enter the batch that does not meet selection criteria in MIGO, system will not allow to save the material document. we need such control at WM TO creation level.

I guess there must be enhance or BADI available for this.

Looks like your batch search strategy is not defined properly.

Please put a breakpoint on below and check what is failing

Thank you very much for the quick response... you mean standard SAP will not allow user to select a batch which is not meeting predefined selection criteria?

I tested it thoroughly.. if strategy is not set up correctly then in the background processing it should not fail TO with the error message 'L3714 - No batches were selected during the batch search'

Would you mind elaborating the sequence while creating the TO. Will system checks the batch determination first and then bin?

Also pl let me know where to keep the break point?

Batch and then batch where the Bin exist

Put a breakpoint at line number 68 and check what is failing
