Hello Design Studio gurus,

I have a requirement that when i click one or multiple dimension values in a graph then all other chart value have to change for the multiple value.

Single value selection filter works fine but how we apply the multiple value selection as a filter to other graph?

I read lot of blogs and other question but still didn't make it work. Do we have any possible solution for this scenario.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

VJ

Hi VJ,

When you submit a question it is important that you provide enough detail so that community members can make suggestions accordingly. In this case, it would be helpful if you provided a screenshot of your application and the script code you have applied for filtering so we can review.

Regards,

Mustafa.

Hi,

I'm working with Design Studio 1.6

and when I multiple select dimension values in a graph, I'm able to retrieve those values

via an array you will be able to store all values, those values you can use for filtering other

var array = CHART_1.getSelectedMembers("ZSYDOSTYP");

array.forEach(function(element, index) {
  if (index == 0)  {var selection1 = element.text;}
  if (index == 1)  {var selection2 = element.text;}
  if (index == 2)  {var selection3 = element.text;}
});

Hi Koen,

Thank You for your response. I will test this logic and let you know.

One question, It is possible to deselect the filter based on graph?

Off course,

you can add a button ("Clear" as text) and as event:

set:
CHART_1.clearSelection();
