Hi Harish,

Thank you for answering.

Further to this, we currently have the user set up as service user. But during an audit they raised a concern with this type since it has critical access and asking if the user can be changed to system user or any other user type.

Will there be any consequences of changing the existing service user to communication user?

Thanks,

Sushma

Hi,

All user related changes can be captured using SUIM and who have change access to SU01 they can change user type.

Here if you create a communication type Id, nobody can use it for dialog login purpose. If you want change anything using this Id (from GUI level) then it need to be a DIA/SYSTEM Id. Everything can be tracked and recorded, only the thing is you need to have controls and maintain evidences whenever they occur.

Hi Pavan,

Thank you for the immediate response.

It is currently maintained as a service user but during audit they raised a concern with the user being of the type service and asked if it can be changed into system user?

Need to provide appropriate reason why it needs to left as service user.

Thanks,

Sushma
