UI Adaptation Not working

Hello guys, I'm researching on this topic so please have mercy in case I say stupid things 🙂

I work on S4 1610FP01 system with separate GW.

I have added a custom field using coding block, configured ATO and Custom Fields & Logic Fiori app and from there I have enabled my field to be used in G/L Account Line Items app.

But when i open this app and go to UI Adaption mode, no action is possible anymore, only exit the Adaption mode.. what could be the problem?

I am facing the same problem. Any pointers?

Also when I enabled the custom field for Display GL line item App, the field which was erstwhile present in Post general journal entry app has now disappeared.

In the custom fields and logic, UI and reports tab, I have only enabled the display GL line item App and published the field but this seems to have impacted post journal entry app.

I had somehow took the conclusion that authorizations were not properly set. But I don't have a concrete solution for the problem nor did I solved this. It was a playground and I had to put it aside at the moment..
