Error during ARFC2 model Migration

Hi Guys,

I am migrating webdynpro java applications from 7.0 to 7.5. I am using 7.5 NWDS. I am trying to migrate ARFC models to ARFC2 model by right clicking on model and selecting "Migrate to ARFC2 Model". Here some models are getting migrated successfully and some are failing with error Migration failed "Unable to import new model. Reimport failed" and then it says "Migration to Adaptive RFC 2 model for xxx failed".

So I tried to import the same function module for which migration was failing in a test application there it gives below error. "Error in creating model classes. Operation aborted".

I have checked the nwds log files and I found nothing there. Neither there is anything in st22. ABAPers says all function modules are fine.

One more thing is I am able to import the same function module as ARFC model in nwds 7.0.

Any inputs are welcome.

Regards,

Madhu

The issue was with function module which has a parameter with name as "output". Apparently this is a limitation in ARFC2. Once the name was changed we were able to import the function modules.
