CO01/CO02/CO03 Customizing TCVIEW

Hi,

does anyone ever faced need to use fields' configuration of table control data from components list of CO01/02/03 transactions?

I found out that variants are in TCVIEW (SM30) but it seems to me that to add a new field, like RESBD-FMENG, it needs to make a custom change to the standard dynpro of our main standard program.

Adding a field reference in TCVIEW doesn't make any effect. It needs something else but there's no documentation. I know it's an old matter, but could be nice to understand how this thing works out.
