Replication BP CRM to R3 direction

Hi Patricia,

I am replicating BP and relationships from CRM 5.0 to ECC 6.0; I have done the following: external bp in crm and internal bp in ecc and also configured PIDE. Placed check marks on the function modules for inbound BUPA_MAIN and BUPA_REL in transaction COM_BUPA_CALL_FUN in ECC. However, its still not replicating. Am I missing anything; I have done this before and thats what I have done in past projects. Thanks, Ariel

    Hi,

    As a common practice, if the BP is getting created in CRM and then getting replicating to R/3, then you have to maintain internal number range in CRM and external number range in CRM.

    Since some of the fields on R/3 customer master are mandatory, your CRM customer might not get replicated to R/3, if that field doesn't filled in CRM. In that case make the R/3 field as optional and then try the upload

      Hi Vikash,

      I think I have to run a debugging function module in COM_BUPA_CALL_FU just to be sure if its going thru the series of function modules. Yes, I have PI_BP_PROXY_BAPI_CUSTOMER and also the function module

      checked. Its creating the XD01 Sold to customer correctly(with the PIDE entry). Usually, in COM_BUPA_CALL_FU you can also put custom function module to create those views or fields that R3 requires but don't have an equivalent value in R3.

      We have a reason in this project to have some of the BUT* tables in R3.
