Hi Community
I am working with a long filter GET request in a Netweaver gateway oData service, which cannot be tested through browser due to browser URL length limitations. How exactly do we use the gateway client's HTTP request screen to test very long GET requests (almost 10k characters) ?
Thanks,
Juhi !
Hi Lokesh,
Thats what I have been reading over all such posts. Still hoping to get an answer to test this in the same state (as a GET service). Bit hard to believe that gateway client provides a host of other functionalities but didn't anticipate this one.
Thanks for the reply though !
Juhi

Hello,
May be - Its not possible to test long filters via service URL , rather you can convert your get service into $BATCH service - where you can send the filter values as payload.
Thanks,
Lokeswar.
